Coding Update
Added 2023-03-25 19:09:19 +0000 UTCI've been in contact with my coder, and he quickly sent me the code for scene 1 (the one with Chloe, the narrator). I loved it! Added some changes to the UI, and gave him my input on music and SFX sound levels. Since then to be honest he's been slow. He's a college student, and just finishing (finished now?) finals, so that's a reasonable excuxe. But I'm now going to closely watch his communication and work output over the next 3-4 days. If I don't get reasonable response I'm going to have to code this myself. It's very hard for me to not have control of ANYTHING in this VN, and if I think this is slowing me down rather than speeding it up, I'll pull it from him and do it myself.
In addition, there's someone else I'm helping with their femdom content, and liked some muscle shapes on one of his women - some really great abdomen detail especially, but also some improvements in other areas. I needed that for Olivia!. He gave me the source of that morph, and after playing with it for a while I realized that the only way I could use it would be to change the base figure for Olivia from a "Genesis 8" to "Genesis 8.1". I spent some time to get past all the hurdles necessary for that, and now have my Olivia G8.1F figure, with that morph incorporated. Definite improvement! Fortunately, the only place it would show is the final scene, where she's in the hotel fitness center. I've now re-created and re-rendered most of the necessary images. Working on the last one now in fact. I also decided to add some blue color to veins for improved realism, so all the images in that scene are also "blued".

I was a little iffy about this coder but I'm starting to think it will still be beneficial, speed-wise. He made some predictions about time-to-complete some milestones that didn't pan out and I got nervous, close to pulling the plug. But today is his last final exam and he's been very communicative the last couple days, so that's good. But if that happens again where he's significantly behind his prediction I'm probably going to "fire" him and do it all myself.

2023-03-26 13:03:47 +0000 UTCWell, my coder and I have now divided some work between us. He's doing the tough stuff and I'm doing the text-entry-intensive part, which takes longer to do. That way we should get it done a lot faster. Let's see how this goes...
