Hello everyone! I'm early with the update this month, but it was out of necessity: I'm going out of the country with my family next week and won't be within easy reach of a computer until the first week of June, so I figured I ought to upload everything now instead of trying to deal with it abroad! We're still waiting on Tallys's room art for this month's goodie, which I'll pass along when the artist finishes it, and a new update to the epistolary short story is in the queue!

The update's pretty standard this time: I've got the first third-ish of Chapter 9 ported, with some cursory bug-testing and a new song added, and a new Blade interlude has been added! If Blade seems a little different this interlude, my take is that he and MC's relationship has fundamentally changed since the last interlude: he has no more secrets from them anymore and has placed himself fully in their confidence, so we're going to start seeing different sides of his character that we may not have fully experienced before. A glimpse of what's really going on inside his head underneath that stoic facade... 😅 And for the Blademancers, he is unravellingggg! You can see a little of how much at war he is with himself currently! He won't even fully talk about it, but I hope it bleeds through anyway. 😆 Even I was shocked by how intense things got! I wasn't planning on [REDACTED] to happen TWICE but I guess they couldn't resist 😅

After this, only Shery, Riel, Tallys, Ayla, and Halek need 1 more interlude to be caught up to the Ascendancy Festival, but I'll likely start writing it with the characters who are caught up next month!

That's all I've got for now! This update comes with around 10 bug fixes and typo tweaks and whatnot, but I forgot to write them down when I did them a few weeks ago! I very much hope you enjoy!
