He leaves me speechless... I'm obsessed with this card! The artist Mafuriah always captures exactly how I envision the characters while going absolutely HAM on their themes and motifs! Riel's arcana is a mix of the Emperor and Judgment--he sits on a throne while surveying the chess pieces before him, which are beginning to turn golden at his touch, an indication of his status as a self-made businessman--the implication of the curtains point to both his love of theater and opera and how he operates on a kind of global and political stage--the chess pieces in the background symbolize power, while his left hand rests on his Merchants Guild cane... I LOVEEEEEEE *inhales this card whole*

I SQUEALED in public when I saw this I was grinning like an utter fool, Riel's character card is an absolute masterpiece! I'M SO IN LOVE HE'S MY FAVORITE CHARACTER AND AAAAAAHHHH THE ARTIST DID HIM SO MUCH JUSTICE I SOB. Thank you so much for commissioning this masterpiece Lena, I will be staring at this for hours now!!
