Did you enjoy this Adventure?
Added 2023-07-28 09:18:03 +0000 UTCNow that our first adventure has concluded, what do you think about this format?
The adventure you just went through contained many possible endings, each and every one of them depending on the choices you've made throughout the quest. There were many things you've explored in it, but there were also encounters that you've missed.
I'm planning on creating a similar adventure for you every month, in a way that even after the completion you can go through it again and find other places and rewards. Remember, each of the options you were selecting from had a different outcome! And, of course, if the choices made wouldn't lead to finishing the quest, returning to it later would allow you to complete it.
Once the adventure is finished and fully explored, everyone who participated in it will also get a PDF with all of the encounters so you can see all the possible endings and what lead to them, and there are many!
This adventure felt a bit rushed as we started with it in the middle of the month, but the next ones should be more relaxed and spread over the whole month's period.
As I'm making the rewards you choose, I will now start working on the models you will select, so the first, July treasure chest, will be a little bit late (although I've already made rough concepts for each and every one of the chests). But the August chest will be available around the end of the first week of August since we are choosing it now as well.
As for future adventures, this is the plan I've been thinking on:
- You will get the monthly STLs as well as the throwback folder around the 1st of each month, based on the votes of the previous month.
- Throughout the month, you will embark on an adventure and make choices that will determine the reward of the next month.
- This time there were no reward previews, but in my free time, I will start working on making all of the Havenbrook location sets together. So in the future, you will see what rewards every location contains, which of them you have already unlocked and which are still there, and then you will know in advance the possible chest rewards and it will be easier to select the locations.
I would love to hear what you think of our adventures, what you want to be changed or improved, and what you loved in them.
And as for now, would you like to be able to revisit this adventure in the future to explore other endings and other parts of the forest on your way to save the sheep?

The poll's question was the last paragraph in the post, so it is asking whether people would want to try playing through the adventure again to discover all the things they missed during the first playthrough. The question in the title is a general question asking for feedback on the adventure, but I can see where the confusion comes from :D
2023-07-29 07:26:32 +0000 UTCThank you, Rob! I designed the adventure and the encounters myself, then wrote the texts and let ChatGPT fix my writing to make it more eloquent, since I'm not a native speaker π As for the artworks, yes, I made them with Midjourney :) In this adventure, I made 7 different endings π And there are still 16 outcomes that we haven't discovered, all have the text written and images, as well. So now I'm wondering if people would only want to complete each adventure once, then time spent on writing all those encounters and generating images for them would be kind of wasted π My initial idea was to have a full proper adventure with a lot of possible endings and encounters, so that people would want to go through it again some time in the future. It doesn't have to be in a few months, it can be in half a year or more. But to make it interesting enough so they would want to replay it to see what else they can discover in it. Then writing so much would make sense. But if no one would want to go through them again, then it would probably be better to just keep all the outcomes as very short descriptions so I can write texts only for the chosen ones π And even if I keep the unused encounters for some other adventure, there will still be a whole lot of possible outcomes from the discovered encounters that would already be written π₯
2023-07-29 07:24:12 +0000 UTCI don't really like this poll because each option seems to answer two different questions. Did we like the adventure and do we want to play it again? What if we liked the adventure but don't want to replay it?

2023-07-29 00:54:15 +0000 UTCI liked this new adventure idea you had a lot, and think the time spent on the adventure was worth it. I thought the writing was pretty good too, well done. - I'm curious if you used ChatGPT or wrote it yourself. - I'm guessing the artwork was created using Midjourney or something similar, correct? I chose the 2nd option for this poll because going through the same adventure can get repetitive. I was thinking, however, that since this is all in the same region, you could potentially reuse a location (one that we didn't choose in this adventure) as one of the options in another adventure. For example, we didn't choose the deep forest location (where there was sure to be an abundance of healing/magical herbs), and instead only ventured nearby for those. Assuming there was something different to be obtained there, you could have that location be an option (fey/druid grove or whatever) in another adventure. I don't know if that makes sense to you or not...just a thought. Anyway, nice job on all this. I thought it was fun, and I was way more engaged with your Patreon this month because of it. ;)
