Win All Current and Future Sets! - Tile Separator Design Contest - Ends August 16th!
Added 2024-07-01 22:02:16 +0000 UTCEDIT: Changed end date to 2-weeks after the grass set, in hopes that more people see it after the new release.
We're looking for new ideas to help disconnect base tiles, and thought it best to see what the community thinks, as well as give back to the community a bit. We want to see what designs will work the best, and...
...the winner of the contest will get all current and future sets for free!
This does NOT include a commercial license. If you win, you can only use them for personal use. The files will be accessible via Google Drive.
And we don't want this to be something you have to spend money to enter, so here is a link to just the blank bases so you can design based off of those STLs and test out your finished parts.
Here are the contest rules:
1. The file must be 3D printable, without any support material. I can reorient the file if necessary to make it printable.
2. The design must work for all sizes of base tiles
3. You must be the creator of the design. You cannot outsource the design to someone else and say you made it.
4. It needs to be saved in an STL format.
5. The contest is open to anyone!
The winner will be chosen based off:
How well it functions
How easy it is to use
How easy it is to print
How durable it is (All designs will be tested using Overture PLA Plus)
The contest is active until August 16th! Finalists will be chosen on August 16th, and a week-long poll will be put up for the community to vote on the best design.
Here's the form to upload your finished design!
