Asset Improvements - Before & Afters
Added 2024-06-27 22:30:23 +0000 UTCHere's a handful of the scenes that Wat and I have been working on improving for the upcoming patch! Our art skills and our ability to consistently draw the characters improved quite a bit over the years of development, so early scenes like these have benefited a lot from touch ups.
So far we've polished 32 scenes, with mostly Grace's story assets remaining. We'll try to wrap the rest of them up quickly so we can complete this patch and move onto Rowan's chapter! Thanks so much for your continued support!

2024-06-28 17:46:55 +0000 UTCYeah, didn't think of the fact that during world war one and two there were food shortages until I was halfway through my critique so that's why I mentioned how that's a possibility as to why he's a scrawny little bastard, and I love Malcolm but he's just so small at least in the updated model, but yeah it would make sense as to why whatever he can he's eating something even if it's not directly acknowledged like he's always drinking or eating something whenever he's not working his ass off or someone else's ass off, so thank you but yeah I already realized how abominable the wars were

2024-06-28 17:35:15 +0000 UTCIf this were a normal army and war I would agree with you but you should go look up images of world war 1 survivors and veterans. Most of the veterans that survived this war took a heavy physical and mental toll.

2024-06-28 02:33:19 +0000 UTCI do like the improvements especially with the notation of how the bucket looks more buckety, but I will mention as a member of the services even if he's now not enlisted he just got out, he would tend to be a bit buffer than the average citizen, and especially if he was a sergeant at least for my experiences in the American Army so I could be wrong I'm pretty sure that means that he's had quite a bit of responsibility on him along with having been tested a bit harder than those that just stayed lower enlisted so he would be more likely to be a bit buffer and at least in my opinion the Afters for the example with Jesse and the example with Grace she looks a bit too young at least in my opinion I'm not going to judge it too much cuz I love this story you've written just a serviceman fresh out of the military would be more of a hunk especially with the low body fat that his build appears to have, he would be able to probably lift any of the girls even in their transformed States, with the little note of him being able to lift Grace up until she became like 10 ft tall then that's a maybe but probably not, anyways, really the point I'm trying to make is he should be on the more buffer side if he was an enlisted that just got fresh out of the grinder, then again with the food shortages it would make sense for him to be skinny now that I think about it but he'd still be just like a tad beefier

2024-06-28 00:45:51 +0000 UTCThere are parts in the game, angles of view, where the characters look a little thick set and stocky compared to their default images. This is something I overlooked because it really isn't important to enjoying the game and I figured it was technical limitations or my monitor. This, however, is a massive fix to several of those parts. Awesome work!
