Table update: Qidi PET-GF and PET-CF

Hello Friends!

Happy New Year to everybody. Table is updated (attached to this post), Qidi PET-GF and PET-CF. Pay attention to the Layer adhesion. Video is uploaded (available in Playlists, but you also have the link in the table). Still working on description..

Other: Tullomer filament is here! Also Tullomer test objects printed by other companies and by Z-polymers. I will have my own too, so I will have a lot of test objects.

Also I got objects from PEKK, PEI, .. 6 industrial filaments.

Vision Miner also told me that they will print PEEK and Ultem test objects for me.

And this is just a tip of the iceberg. This will be a busy start of 2025..

Earlier I had fix link for the spreadsheet, but somebody started selling it. Some temporary Patreon. That's why now I have new upload for every update.

Igor Gaspar

Scratch that, found a newer spreadsheet. It seems I'm just not used to finding files on here.

Carmelo Locurto

I don't see the Fiberon PET-CF17 in here. I see the video so can get the values but updated to the latest spreadsheet and the QIDI is in there but not the Fiberon? Unless I'm missing something.

Carmelo Locurto

I was not prepared for the amount of data in the spreadsheet. Maybe a good YouTube video would be to make a simplistic flow chart to determine which filament to use. Use the assumption one has a heated chamber to be able to print more advanced filaments. Also, put in disclaimer it's over-simplified to avoid annoying know-it-all engineer (you know who you are) comments.

Greetings Igor and others! Love the info and the testing methods. I was in a research and technical support role, so kind of a geek! New "again" to 3D printing after over 15 years out of it. Used your spreadsheet to inform my purchases. Sadly, several filaments I thought most interesting so far are not available in the USA without big shipping! I suppose the reverse of Igor's problem getting US filaments to test. Have a GREAT day, and kind regards...

Australia, I bought it on Amazon AU, there seems to be 2 listings for it and Im not sure if they are the same but both seem to have GF. I found it on Aliexpress but is cheaper (and faster at least for me) via Amazon, found it on Amazon Belgium too - https://www.amazon.com.be/CC3D-imprimante-dimpression-temp%C3%A9ratures-remplissage/dp/B0CHW5NJ94/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2VKK2A9NCF3W0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ejnlMVbJORthWUbxtyyvHpbn47YpXYwvRg1c3AdNey1oEU_TTOkt0KFbuTy5S6xkFJFhHM8Fh0SJ96YeBJlvavyJ5L0_7ZC8x6-PHZ8D2p4X8EssGfa3S80tsoSBWyHpiTLfs9Avy4OThvx2zZQFi02I_U4HlTuxHFl99SMd-ouuzgLSjX4v05-VdqboIvZ_OUMolkzjFCQPBske3GB3A7C2Hon9cPqF1uD83NCu8ux04l7fNcqobVtRuXe7FNuzeRz5N4Bu7zt7hl2qTylSFUIW--5rkZdvJVn15L-nJhtAxw_KM0-ENmSVfK5ZfZLdccihWP6s9sk1gL_RMAm1S4zTw8JYxm_11xoCwyC2qSuUDqU0vptdkorZfwO5QokORaY0lEGUICpHN4UNpiWH8ao3y8kPIJfFNI2xvLBaw6ZFF9OALAK-ne2i4AW5LgZw.3qOYg_21NplbKSolqwlIlVOewJX4xoToDS5ebaua81U&dib_tag=se&keywords=cc3d+pbt+pro&qid=1736729285&sprefix=cc3d+pbt+%2Caps%2C346&sr=8-1

Daniel Lee

Is it available in EU too? So far I can see only in US. Where are you from?

Igor Gaspar

Really curious to see Cc3d's PBT Pro (GF). Can even send a roll if you're interested, it's rather inexpensive filament.

Daniel Lee

Also thank you for all the work that you do! its great data and insight for the 3d printing community.

Jack Wilson

Currently, I have filaments here for the testing for the next 4-5 months. ABS-GF25 is not between them. Maybe after this I can add them to the list.

Igor Gaspar

Have you considered trying qidi abs-gf25? they make an interesting claim about the fibers only being on the inner part of the filament so that the added glass has less of an impact on the layer adhesion.

Jack Wilson

Very excited to see some more PET-CF filaments. This has become my goto over pa6CF, although the impact resistance isn't quite as good. I am finding the ease of printing, cost, and speed all better while still maintaining good layer adhesion, stiffness and thermal resistance.

Jack Wilson

No, different filaments. Only Tullomer is common in some cases.

Igor Gaspar

Wow! very excited for all the new engineering materials. Are the objects printed by other companies all using the same filament?
