They just said NO!! —Wisp To RainbowLand | Update

Good Evening,

So I dont recall telling anyone this— but I did hear back from Hallmark, about licensing the series. Without any information or Knowledge provided about comic, I was swiftly denied. I was warned before hand by some one on linkedin how Most of these companies operate when trying to obtain licensing.

So as of now, I will continue making this a very public, Non-Profit project, for you all to enjoy.  Now since magical girls aren’t a new concept and Rainbowbrite itself, didn’t have much story/Material  to really use — I do plan on changing A LOT to make this more original and loosely based on the original series. I plan on changing names of characters, character designs and locations throughout the series. This should prevent any future run ins by the company .

I really want to keep the Name Wisp but, will be changing her AlterEgo Name from RainbowBrite to Arcenciel ( Arc-en-Cell-ah | rainbow in french).  I think I can get away with that— I may also shorten in to Arc as in, Arc-angel, a form she will possess in the series.

I also Decided to change twink into a fairy-like sprite , starlite into a pegasus and got ridof Lurky over all— by making minions Named the Lurks. Twink will go by his full name twinkle, and Starlite’s name will be either Astrid or Galaxy.

SJena—The Princess of the Black Star

Before I proceed with the tell her mini — I know I just an entire story but , that also will be scraped or altered.

— Sjena, one of our (3) Villains In our story,  plays a HUGE part on why Wisp must return. Born in the south side of chicago, to her mother Anarose (Ana) and father, Nightshade (Dim) — Sjena was only one years old when she was discovered and imprisoned by her Aubts. Her father, who Ruled over the Stars and Galaxies Was Banished for his crimes,  sent to Earth to be watched by his sisters while, awaiting his trial.  As darkness rumbles within him, he would meet Ana during his darkest hours.  Using his alias,  Dim , he would meet with Ana on the bus after she would get off of work. The two were truly inseparable and discovered love in one another. Sjena’s Aunts, Esfera De la Luz,  Govern and Ruler of Terra ( Earth ) and Iris, Goddess of Rainbows,  Govern and ruler of RainbowLand— were responsible for him as he was under investigation. Both, were unaware of Ana and  would only discovered Sjena due to dark corner that would form in Rainbowland. Disappointed and unsure of how to handle the matter— Esfera and Iris would need to work together to capture their brother,  protect man kind and Rainbowland. They would come and fuse together as one to become much more powerful, in order to stop any plans that Dim may have. Soon they would banish him to the darkest corner of RainbowLand, imprisoned Sjena within Rose Quart coated star and Erased Ana memory . 

Sjena would later be released from her prison,  after her father was capture once more by Arc,  during her fathers failed attempt To take over the RainbowLand. She would soon learn the truth and would declare their revenge on Arc and her aunts. 

Character design Explorations ( Sjena ) 

So, Sjena is of Spanish descent and her mother is originally from Honduras Who moved to the mid west because of her father. So I decided to make explore more layered, fuller, 80s-90s hairs styling. She would be around the same age as  Wisp ( Arc ) and Sunnÿ.  That would make her around the ages of 17-18 during all of these events. 

Next, though the plan to step aways for the RainbowBrite Series, I still want to use it as reference. I designed (4) outfits for Sjena’s Villlain Era. 

My next plan is to make a video for this portion of the story to see if others will be interested and continue ding more character exploration. Till then, wait do you think and hope to tell you more soon.
