Hello again, everyone!
The newest release of NTR Mobile is finally here! Now, be warned... story-wise, this is the smallest update yet, with only 1 day added on all routes. However, functionality-wise, it’s one of the bigger ones.
As I mentioned in previous posts, I needed new gameplay elements to progress the story into its next stage. If you include adding SFX to the entire story (even retroactively, which was almost impossible to implement before the log system), those two tasks alone consumed nearly all the available development time. And that’s not even counting the newly implemented log system!
I know this update might be disappointing for some, but rest assured—with these new functionalities in place, I can finally make a big push in the story for the next update. I also hope the added SFX will give you all a chance to re-experience the game in a fresh way.
Added a new gameplay element that gives players more insight into events (right now, it only has 1 entry, but this will expand in future updates).
Added the system(s) for a new gameplay element with Sam (though it’s only being hinted at now—more action coming in v0.18.0).
Upgraded the log system—now it works for every character. However, it won’t work retroactively, meaning you’ll need to re-experience the chat for it to be added to the log. You can access it in the respective character’s chat.
Added SFX to the entire story. Note: Some events lack SFX by default, and the nanobots in their earlier stages don’t provide any.
Moved AskItShareIt to its own app on the homescreen. Notifications updating you when a new post is available will be added in the future.
Added an AskItShareIt post regarding the myth, the legend… Richard, as the poor man is in a bit of a conundrum.

And of course… the story continues… barely.

On a side note: I’m REALLY happy to have all this implemented. Now, in the next update, I can focus on some crazy story progress and much-needed UI improvements.
