THE RATLING TANK - Part 1

This a the first part of a brand new video series about how I approached the creation of my 40k vehicle enty for this years golden demon competition in Chicago at the Adepticon.
I wanted go give you an insight not only on how I create and paint the entry but also, a little more than usual , describe the idea and theory of the creation process with you.
Lets discover together the grim dark future.. where there is only war..
well... not only .. there are also hobbits! Whaaaaat... future hobbit? !!
better known as "ratlings" to the literate geek.
I wanted to take my return to the golden demon stage to create a charming little entry for
the warhammer 40k vehicle category, and use it to focus on the untold and neglected stories of the warhammer world with a unit of ratlings sittting on a special custom ratling tank.
A fantasy version of a very common historical/military topic. here represented by a piece by the fantastic John Rosengrant "leave no man behind".
We will be using mainly the Blood Bowl Hobbits as a resource to create our ratling crew.
I love the charaterful faces, and the box has a few other amazing bits.
But before we take care of all the little story-telling details and the ratling crew we will start with the tank first.
