Hey Folks and Friends,
I hope you have everything ready for the holidays!
Here is the latest Video to enjoy under the Christmas tree.

We will be mainly using the different NMM approaches described in the NMM Guide a while back. I have attached it again to this post (I know it can be hard to find thing in here)

This time I will be using only the new Kimera Kolors, but it can be for sure done with other paints aswell , this video is more about getting the theory down on a model .

As it comes a little short in the video..

a few words on those paints (quite a lot of you have asked  ;) )

As some of you might know .. I was in the Beta-Test-Group for the Kimera Kolor Range
and I got a set of the Kimera Kolors when I was in Monte San Savino

I really love the super intense Pigmentation and as you can see in this Video they work really well for almost any technique.
The finish is really very matt/flat, they are about as matt as the Scale 75 Paints, but I have the feeling they blend a lot better and have not the problem of separating all that easily..

My resume on the Kimera Paints is that they are a fantastic addition to the paints that i am currently using. The intensity of the paints is amazing! I think they are really great to push the saturation and the contrast of a piece.
I think the set is a fantastic opportunity to train you color mixing skills
A lot of us miniature painters are spoiled and rely on Paint sets (skin-set xy, rust-set, weathing set) or the typical triad of base tone shadow tone and highlight that you find from a lot of companies, so having to mix all tones constantly can be a challenge.
And I think if you would want to use those paints for a huge monster or even a whole army
you would need to work with paint mixes that you keep in extra dropper bottles or pots, because the intense pigmentation can make it hard to remix the exact same shade.

Thanks for your Support!

The bottles are great much easier to shake than most. Hopefully they will sell single bottles in the near future. Great tutorial :)

When Kimera doesn't have a dark sea blue so you have to improvise. :)
