[Preview] FormFitter Feature Preview!

The new FormFitter is still in development but I wanted to give you guys a preview of some of the features I plan on including in a 1.0 release! Everything of course is subject to change down the line. If you want more frequent updates or to ask questions, the best place would be the Facebook group page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/701367925918099

Image 1: Free form cut tools
This feature aims at helping customize your printing experience. Designers often have their own interpretation of how parts should be separated (if at all); this tool would help you draw your own separation points onto existing files.

Image 2: Exporting according to printer constraints
When exporting all your scaled files you have the option to enable printer constraints. This will automatically cut up all parts in order to fit your pre-determined print volume. Right now it's just a planar cut but we might look into automatically adding alignment keys.

Image 3: Armor snap points and transformation tools
When importing armor you'll have the option to "snap" it to pre-defined points on your avatar. This also means you'll be able to swap out avatars for your builds. For example, say you scale some clone armor to your own proportions but want to make a set for your friend. You'll just load in their avatar instead and it'll automatically re-adjust aligned armor parts to their "snapped" relative location.

Image 4: Head Mode
For some increased accuracy for helmets I'd like to add a "Head Mode" option. This will allow you to import 2 canvases, scale them to your entered head measurements. Then import ear, nose, and maybe glasses objects and perfectly scale them to your proportions and positions. This should help scaling helmets be more accurate to your true head shape.

Image 5: Sizing Slices
You've scaled your parts but do you want to double-check everything before printing the full thing? This toggle would let you specify a cut point for a thin cross section part to be exported with your scaled armor, letting you test it on your body before printing the full piece.

This is not a complete list of features I plan on including in FormFitter, but they are some of the more interesting ones! Another feature I'd like to add is a "Marketplace". 1 to help pay for development of the program, but 2 allow other pre-approved designers to sell their files with pre-built FormFitter project files included. Hopefully one day a FormFitter project file will be more frequently included in other's cosplay file releases, it'll definitely be included in our future releases!

Thanks for reading everyone! As always, let me know if you have any feedback or features you'd like to see included.

- Aaron
