[MyMiniFactory Archive] A quick tutorial on our MMF archive system

Hi folks, as we shed the weight of what feels like forty thousand hammers I figured it would be a good time to write up how our MyMiniFactory archive system works. If you're getting sent this link months later it means your question will probably be answered below.

SUMMARY
Monthly Specialist members get access to files released in the current and previous month, and since we rotate out the monthly rewards folders in Google Drive this would normally mean you would lose access to old files if you didn't download them in time. HOWEVER, we don't want that for you, so we built a system that allows you to redeem those files available during your tenure to a permanent library on MyMiniFactory.

PROCESS
On the last day of every month (and for special occasions) we will export a list of all current Specialist members. We put that list of emails into a group and send out an email to redeem your rewards through a private MMF collection - it will look like the email pictured above. Once you redeem the files they will be available in your MMF Library for as long as MMF supports it. It should be a perfect replica of the files released during your tenure.

FAQ
- Q: "I didn't receive my email, what gives?"
A: The most likely case is that the email is in your spam folder, barring that make sure you are checking the proper email account - it will send the email to whatever email is connected to your Patreon account.

There is one scenario where you will not receive a redemption email. If you cancel your subscription mid-month, Patreon will not include your email account in the list it generates for me of "active" members. In this case, please message me with your Patreon email and I can manually send you the archive if you were a member during the month.

- Q: "I redeemed the files but they're not showing in my MMF account."
A: That's not really a question but - your MMF account email MUST match the email that is connected to your Patreon account. Otherwise you are "redeeming" the files to an account that doesn't exist.

Hope that helps!
- Aaron

If I may make a suggestion regarding how you guys upload them to MMF going forward, It would be a huge help with keeping them organized if you attach pictures to each either with a screenshot that shows everything thats in the pack not just a few of what's in it and or included a list in the description of what's in each pack, or uploaded each file as its own download with corresponding picture (which I know is a lot of work so the former is probably the better way to go) that way if say I am looking for a specific helmet that was released in May 2025's pack 5 years from now I don't have to go downloading each and every months release "pack" I have gotten since trying to figure out which one contains said helmet if that makes sense because that would be a lot of files to have to download and comb through eventually and would kind of be less organized than the google drive that has each item in its own respective folder making it easy to find exactly what you are looking for. Uploading everything as a month pack that has every release for that month in 1 download, unless the picture shows everything that's in the download and or the description lists it out it kind of defeats the goal you were going for with using MMF to better organize the files and increase ease of accessing the files we have access to, etc. <3
