Not a fan of snow cones? Fine, but that's because you haven't tried shave ice. Go to Matsumoto's on the North Shore. Get a Hawaiian with vanilla ice cream. It's practically a religious experience. Source: we lived on O'ahu for nearly 10 years while stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam. ETA Cass used to sing "Suspicious Minds" at karaoke at the Puka on Hickam. Jason has a tattoo of Stitch riding a surfboard on his left bicep. Long story short, we love this movie.

It’s one that I hold super super close to my heart, one of my absolute favorite movies EVER❤️ the whole story of Stitch finding his own family, the meaning of Ohana, and regardless of Lilo being left out or feeling isolated, she still had her big sister, and then Stitch came along and filled that gap for them both. That scene where Stitch is by himself in the forest with the Ugly Duckling book and him learning how to say “I’m lonely” was so incredibly heartbreaking, I remember that scene making me sad as a kid, but as an adult… man, it tears me up every time. He finally had the words for how he felt. Everything about this movie really does bring me so much joy and happiness, it was also my late older-brothers favorite movie, we used to watch this movie ALL the time as kids. We even learned and talked like Stitch and would talk to each other in “alien” 🥹🥹 this one is gold 💛
