3 episodes ago, I decided I was going to watch the rest of the episodes. I only made it 2 up (so I'm current with this one, episode 6) because the show got so boring. Two episode with basically nothing happening, especially since they followed after Helly tried to hang herself. I don't know if the guys made it interesting or the show just lost its footing. I'm seriously tempted to just look up spoilers because I do not know that I can hang with the slow pacing and nothingness of the episodes. They've already established the boring and tedious work life, they just aren't moving on from that to get to the point. It honestly comes off as this was supposed to be a 3 episode mini series and then they suddenly got a full season order and didn't know how to stretch out the story.

2025-04-18 02:36:33 +0000 UTCI do agree with Quinn when he talks about it being slow or not giving enough info to refrain from being frustrated. I was able to watch all the episodes for season 1 all in one go so it didn't feel that way to me but now watching it with you guys and having it be one episode a week at a time, it really shows the slowness of the series. I felt the same way when watching season 2 unfortunetly. It seems they have a goal of how they want the season to end and that subsiquently makes the series slow at points until we can reach that point. I do love the story and it does make you wanna watch more but I would say for season 3, they need to keep it flowing better. It's very interesting coming back to season 1 after finishing season 2 and seeing all the tid-bits here and there. There is many good scenes and moments to come so don't be disuaded by the slowness.

Question - you guys were definitely intrigued by the scene where Devon meets up with Gabby again (at the playground), and their exchange, and also meets her husband, Angelo. Then Devon looks them up online -- but you guys didn't talk about it in the outro at all. What were you thinking when you watched that?
