However everyone always focuses in on the performance by Jake and Forest but the performances of the two women Rachel and Oona set the entire tone of this film Rachels dying scene was so good I've seen this many times and I still tear up from it. And come on Oona, 11-12 years old turned in that performance...Everyone was on point. This movie does a great job showing grief and it's various stages across different perspectives and personalities. No matter how short the scene was Rita Ora never fails to floor me in the beginning of this movie. She's unrecognizable. 🩷💛💙

2024-07-17 23:20:24 +0000 UTCFun fact about the song at the end, originally "Wiseman" by Frank Ocean was written in 2012 and was supposed to be used in Django Unchained. QT loved the ballad but couldn't find any place for the song. He decided to cut it from the movie rather than have it throw it in somewhere quick, out of respect for the work Frank did. It was unreleased until the artist posted it to his tumblr, and would later be featured in this movie (it is still technically unreleased to this day).
