it feels like none of you went into this show with an open mind. you're all only watching it to confirm the negative things you read in the comments and reviews. you spent the entire episode only pointing out things you didn't like and you completely misunderstood that this is meant to be a comedy, so things aren't supposed to be super serious. i would recommend avoiding reading in depth on reviews before watching things for the first time. i don't think you realize how much of a bias it gives you, but it's very obvious. almost every thing you guys pointed out or talked about has been regurgitated in comments and reviews a million times before -- the same reviews and comments you admitted to reading lol. the only new critique added was Oak talking about She-Hulk's hair, which was just ridiculous. in a few months when Deadpool and Wolverine is out on streaming, you guys are going to love every moment of it for the same exact reasons you hated She-Hulk lmao just watch

Same lol I was catching up on Marvel late last year, watched the pilot and then wasn't motivated to go on, at least not immediately. Then I became a patron so waited for them to reach this show, now I feel more motivated to watch the rest thanks to their reactions 😄 I heard the show gets a bit better after the pilot, let's hope it's true!

nah, some of us just have our own opinions. It being Disney or Marvel doesn't make me like it more, if anything it makes me like it less. But I try go into things with no expectations and take it for what it is. These projects are written, directed, and acted by completely different people. I've seen everything Marvels has ever made and I enjoy it but most of it couldn't crack my top 20-30 favorite movies and shows. I still enjoyed She-Hulk even though it's not my favorite show they've done. not everyone who disagrees with you is a "shill" or a "stan". some of us are actually capable of thinking for ourselves. Disney is a horrible company for a thousand reasons, their new remakes have been awful and I grew up loving the originals. Ms Marvel, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Loki, and Wandavision were better, but Wandavision had it's own issues, personally I thought parts of the plot were badly written. I have a degree in film and I'm in the industry. It's not that hard to understand that people just have different opinions on subjective art. Acting as if those options are objective facts is ridiculous. That's not how art works.

why does a male character need to be developed first before a new female character? she has her own comics, why can't her story be told even though his hasn't been? I don't understand that line of thinking. she's her own person. he's already been developed over several movies too, they even admitted to making the Thor movie a lot about him to get around the fact they weren't allowed to make a Hulk movie. He's been a major part of the MCU since the original first phase.

I've seen everything Marvels made and I actually liked She-Hulk. it's not amazing, and there are moments I don't like, but I love the actresses especially Tatiana and I love some stuff that happens later that I won't spoil. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Loki, Ms Marvel, & Wandavision are still better, but there are things to enjoy about She-Hulk.

Its not an amazing show, but people tend to rate it way lower than it deserves. The reason why its so easy for her to control is not rly explained in the show, only hinted at: its about not having a second personality in you. Bruce had a multiple Identity disorder from childhood on. The hulk persona existed before the gammar radiation incident, it was a persona to protect him from his abusive father, hence all the anger and aggressive behaviour. The radiation incident just gave the Hulk a body of its own. Jennifer Walters doesn't have this disorder, so there is no second persona to take control when she hulks out.

If you want to see more of Tatiana Maslany's work definitely react to Orphan Black, its pretty much the show that put her on the map and now theirs a spin off of that show Orphan Black Echoes. Orphan Black is one of my favorite shows; its 5 seasons but only 10 episodes per season. How many characters in that show she's able to pull off is incredible.

It's so annoying to see how you guys got influenced from the start by all the negative reviews and disliked it from the beginning without giving it a chance (looking at you Oak) The show isn't good. But it's definitely not the worst show ever. People, especially men, call it that cause there is a lot of feminism going on. Basically, "How dare they make She Hulk, a woman(!!!!) more talented in such a short time than THE Hulk" and shit like this. They definitely overdid some scenes in terms of humor and stuff, but over all, the show is a lot of fun. So yea, I don't care what some people say about it, I love this show and I will die on this hill defending it. Just hope yall watch the rest of it more open minded. Edit: I also don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but She Hulk is known for breaking the 4th wall in the comics. Edit 2: The villain at the end was Titania. Pretty sure she's one of She Hulks main villains (or main opponent)

She literally told us why she can control her anger. There's no point showing us. I do agree that the CGI is bad. I believe it's because the CGI artists moved to work on Wakanda Forever. However, the writing isn't bad at all. Also, She-Hulk in the comics does break the fourth wall, just like Deadpool. This show gives me the vibe of the Ally McBeal sitcom.

A lot of my problems with this show comes from the fact that Hulk's character and story isn't developed enough in the movies, since they can't make Hulk movies so it doesn't feel right to have a She-Hulk show when Hulk himself hasn't gone through his own development (on screen). IIRC in the comics, Bruce gets the hulk personality because of his abusive childhood and since Jen had a normal childhood she doesn't have a second personality, but unfortunately the MCU hasn't shown us this.

The actress herself I enjoyed though some of the story was rushed and little all over I do believe marvels new area (marvel television) will help with this… marvel had a set back but are slowly getting to bounce back - mid season had good moments and her character wasn’t that bad. (CGI and some of the story wasn’t great - 7/10 for me) I do wish once they get caught they do X-men & older marvel movies and eventually do Netflix marvel shows and agents of shield

What bugs me is that - while the show was FAR from perfect, and in fact one of my least favorite Marvel shows - there were a crazy amount of people whining about the fourth wall breaks and meta stuff… which is like, “Tell me you’ve never read a She-Hulk comic without telling me you’ve never read a She-Hulk comic” because she’s up there with Deadpool in terms of that shit.

This show was undeservedly panned. It is not nearly so bad. The effects team was moved to Wakanda Forever, and the first episode was one of the last to be processed. They made the decision to only show her reflection on the car instead of seeing her directly for those reasons, etc. This show was basically a victim of Disney's previous CEO forcing Marvel to push as much content as possible, so they didn't have as much time as Phase 1-3 Marvel to prepare and deliver. So it's not terrible, but its obvious it could be a lot better.

I liked the vibe of this show. It didn’t take itself too seriously and was a fun introduction to the character in the MCU

100000% agreement. The guys usually go into things with a much more open mind. Interested in watching and seeing their thoughts at the end of the episode (only watched their intro so far).

You guys should have gone in without being influenced by others, the show wasn't that bad. It didn't really feel like it was a necessary show because it didn't add much to the MCU and She-Hulk has been breaking the 4th wall in the comics since the 80s.

Tbh the story had bad ending cgi was meh but it did have good moments so that’s my personal fucking opinion 😂everyone just got so spoiled and judgmental over the past 5 years

She is amazing! I would probably watch her in anything

I really enjoyed this series, but I also just think Tatiana Maslany is amazing and she raises everything for me pretty substantially. (Her many, many performances in Orphan Black amount to one of the best acting performances I’ve ever seen.)
