There are many moments through the show that tease Jake or actually show him and it’s so subtle we usually don’t catch it first watch. I wish I could talk y’all into watching New Rockstars explanations and Easter Egg videos on this show.. especially for you, Answer! 🤩🤩 I have Marvel and Star Wars encyclopedias too- and I love trying to figure out mysteries in this marvel universe. Please check them out if you’d like to see some awesome moments we don’t catch first time around? ☺️

After Marc released Steven from the coffin, they walked a bit down the hall and they saw a second coffin in the in-between or whatever, but they didn't open it. It's a cool little hint! And I think when they first arrived in Cairo and things got bloody and Steven came back on the rooftop? I can't remember but there have been a few times were things didn't add up or Marc would say it wasn't him but Steven didn't believe him and that was probably Jake!

When I first watched it I was a little disappointed in how much time they put into developing the characters only to have it end this way. As a fan of the comics I loved the series overall, the revelation of Jake Lockley, and the prospect of a season 2 ☺️

2024-07-04 16:47:05 +0000 UTCGotta agree, it did feel a bit short on time and rushed but doesn't take me out of the experience of this show. From a writing standpoint, episode 5 was just so good that from that aspect the finale probably couldn't live up to it to some people. Action wise loved this episode. This is one of the other marvel shows I did like, when it comes to the shows it's a definitely hit or miss kind of list. This would be, in my opinion, a hit for a marvel show.

2024-07-03 17:58:26 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this show so much!! I personally have no serious issue with the ending, I mean this is pretty much how it goes with Marvel. Especially the tv shows. Wandavision ending was similar for me with no resolve on white Vision and an unexpected outcome with the "villians". There are others I won't get into since y'all haven't caught up on all the shows but you get my point. Or maybe because I'm a heavy comic reader, I have different expectations 🤷🏻♀️ Either way, I was a big fan of this one and glad you guys enjoyed it and the characters.

The thing is, Marc and Steven were released. Jake Lokely was not. Seeing Marc and Steven had no idea of Jake's existence, they werent specific enough with their words. Like a gene giving you exactly what you wish for and realising its not what you wanted

2024-07-03 14:26:29 +0000 UTCHonestly I think they did a very good job in their depictions of Khonshu, Ammit and Tarweret. It may seem silly to some people but that is just how egyptian gods are presented, they usually have a human body and an animal head. So considering that, I think they did a great job at bringing those gods to life because there certainly was a lot of room to make a concept like that look absolutely ridiculous.

2024-07-03 06:27:58 +0000 UTCAs a huge Moon Knight comic fan I never felt like this finale was necessarily rushed, but more so like comic panels. You start with Layla and Harrow in the aftermath of shooting Marc and you get all the info you need there, next panel back to Marc in the Duat, so on and so forth until the characters came together again. I will say I agree on the whole Layla not getting caught blending in with Harrow's crew that was a little dumb, but suspension of belief haha. However, I can agree that despite me liking the ending and viewing it this way it probably would have been a better filmmaking choice to add another episode or a couple extra minutes on top of this finale to flesh it out more. Overall I really loved it and give it a 4.8. Also Layla as Scarlet Scarab is an original character to this show and they liked her so much they added her to the comics after the show finished airing. Laters gators.

2024-07-03 04:26:39 +0000 UTCSeason two is coming. :) it has been confirmed by Producers. Marvel has said they consider the first season a success and the character will be in other MCU projects, rumor has it Moonknight season 2 will be announced at D23 in August 2024.

2024-07-03 03:49:15 +0000 UTCThat's been the general consensus regarding the finale, lol, especially after eps 5, a bit rushed, the fight scenes were awesome, if only they were longer/more of it being a last eps. There's been teases of Jake throughout the season, and was wondering if we'd actually get him and, then was REALLY disappointed we didn't get to see the last fight, but, I suppose if Marc and Steven aren't aware of him, that wouldn't be something we'd be able to see ourselves during the couple times he took over from them both. Overall though, I really enjoyed the series, its one of my top 3 of the MCU series. Season 2 is still up in the air, last I heard, but if we don't get a s2, at least I hope they don't let this be the end of Moon Knight in the MCU period, he's a great character and I hope we get more of him.
