Switching Proper Places: Part 8
Added 2024-06-19 09:00:04 +0000 UTCI believe I've mentioned this at the start of this story, but Switching Places' tone and length are actually a product of me taking inspiration from another writer. If you look around on AO3, I highly recommend searching for a few stories by the author Clairanette/Clairacuddles. Her story Matron's Handmaiden was a big influence on this, especially its early chapters, when it was more of a cat and mouse game between two lead characters. It's a much more well written story, of course, but I'm doing my best to reach her level lol.
This chapter also gave me an opportunity to look up some vintage cocktail/party dresses, which is always fun!
