CMSN: Retvrn And Regret (Part 1)

This story touches on something I've only delved into a small handful of times before, that being the idea of someone who idolizes Stepford and its ideals and thinks of it as their personal dream world, only to find out it's not what they expected. Specifically, thinking of it as an alt right or reactionary community, only to see that Stepford (or my version of it anyways) has plenty of marginalized people living in it, all together in brainwashed harmony. Because Stepford (as I write it) isn't a conservative paradise, nor is it a leftist paradise. They don't exactly follow any particular logic that is shared by our modern society. And so it's a rude wakeup call when someone goes there expecting to be surrounded by cishet white people, and finds out that their neighbors are as diverse as the real world is.
Because Stepford is for everyone, as long as they're pressed into that 1950s gender role.
