Stepford Variety Hour

So, you may be thinking to yourself "this isn't Switching Proper Places", to which I say you're absolutely right!

Switching Proper Places is going to end up being a pretty long story, in all honesty. It's very much a slow burn, and it's easily going to be longer than Bet On Black or The House Wins or basically any other story I've posted here. I don't know exactly how long it will end up being, since I'm really just letting it take its natural course. I have an ending in mind, but the journey there will take a bit. So, in case its not everyone's cup of tea, and to give everyone some variety, I'll be posting oneshots and other stories alongside it as we go. 

With a story that's, say, 5 parts, I don't mind posting the whole thing every other week. But I don't want to saddle you all with Switching Proper Places for half a year, you know? Not that it'll go for that long, but just in case it does, I want to alternate it with stories like this. 

So, Stepford Variety Hour itself! It's something I've wanted to write for ages, and its been in my drafts for about as long. I kept on updating it every few months, until finally wrapping it up this year. It's a nice look at Stepford late night TV, inspired by Ed Sullivan or Laugh-In or other variety shows of the 1950s. It's also sort of anthology adjacent, showing little snippets of a few different women in Stepford who appear on the show.
