Rubber Meets Glue (Stepfordization)

Hello! Hope you're all having a great week! I'm getting ready to enjoy a two day weekend (in the middle of the week) from my day job myself.

The basic idea behind this story was "Spy vs Spy, but make it Stepford". It's a fun enough concept I think, but the addition of the office setting is another element to make it stick out from my previous work. I tend to go in phases, I feel, with my stories? I had a few focusing on women coming to Stepford, then a period with a lot of college students and people around my own age group, and now I'm leaning more towards workplace settings. Obviously, this doesn't cover all my work, but it is an interesting arc that I've noticed in my writing.

Originally, I had planned for the next story to be another Retro Futurism one, but sadly I just couldn't make the concept work, no matter how hard I tried. Instead, I'll be kicking off December with a story inspired by a certain controversial song that's been playing on the radio lately.
