What's In A Kiss? (Bonus story)

This one is another remake of an old caption of mine. The names and exact details have changed, but the basic concept is carried over and expanded on in a way that I hope is enjoyable. It's a bit more magical than my typical stories, but that made it rather fun to write! I also snuck in a few references to some other things while I was at it~
Also, a brief warning, this story does feature nonconsensual elements. If that isn't your jam, I understand, and recommend skipping this one. And for those who do read it, I hope you enjoy!

I honestly don’t know the answer, but Mia would definitely agree with you! My intent was for him to stay with her, as her husband, using his magic to keep things perfect for them and their eventual family, but the other possibility is rather swell too! And I love that Stepford really has whatever tools it needs. Surgery, cybernetics, hypnosis, magic, positive reinforcement... whatever gets the job done! It allows for so many possibilities. As for the last question, I had actually wanted to post the image that inspired the original caption alongside the story, but sadly I was unable to find it again! It was a painting from the 50s of a woman with black hair and a pink dress being kissed near a sink by a man in a suit.

Basically it goes like this: if you repair/replace every single part of a ship, at the end is it really still the same ship? This story made me think of it. If you change Mia’s body and her mind/memories, is she still the same person? I like to think the answer is a resounding “yes,” that this is just the best possible version of Mia Ramirez. I’m sure she’d agree! So glad that Stepford has both science and magic on its side. This story is another one that demonstrates the big spectrum of Stepfordization methods in your stories, because both Mia and her ex Julie are in the process of getting Stepfordized through what seem like completely unrelated methods. It’s fun to imagine them meeting up again at some point after they’ve both been transformed. But as for Mia’s method, I’m curious about this magical man. I’m sure you kept him mysterious for effect, but is it safe to assume he’s going to sticking around with Mia for awhile? Or is he some kind of wandering wizard of Stepfordization who looks for women desperately in need of help and stops by long enough to teach them their true place so they can gain control over their lives? Sorry, last question: Do you still have the art/photos you used for these when they were captions? Would be cool if you could repost them alongside these story versions so we could compare and contrast
