RogueLove 0.29 is now Available!
Added 2025-07-10 03:27:16 +0000 UTCA quick note to start, I'll be updating the Android version within the next little while, I'm hoping I can figure out the problems with the Android 14 build before I get around to working on that.
The new version fixes up some problems which were caused by Chests and other boons (Shrines, smithes, bookshelves, etc) spawning which were sometimes blocking progression, appearing in places that were inaccessible, or overlapping eachother. An entire new system for scanning the area and picking the best tile to spawn these features on has been fully implemented. In addition to this, the same boons have been added to the reward system allowing them to pop up from time to time as rewards in the same way that Chests do. The aforementioned system ensures that if they spawn in the same room, they won't overlap.
The player can also use their Charisma now to bargain with the Merchant at the shops for a discount or even free items if you're "good enough." There's some new simple animations for this feature. There's also a harder version of the beam crossing Agility room which involves an ero element.
This version also fixes up some bugs from previous versions, and will likely be patched within the next little while to fix anything else that comes up.
