RogueLove 0.28 is now Available!
Added 2025-05-08 03:02:16 +0000 UTCThe new version of RogueLove is now available! This version finishes up the new Starting area by fixing a couple things which weren't working quite right (the new Cheats and Challenges statue among them,) and adding a number of changes which will occur as you get further in the game/ complete certain goals. There's also 3 new Challenge modes which can be accessed by speaking with the statue before starting your run.
As well, this version fixes up a few boss fights which were a little boring, by giving them new attacks and some more functionality. For example, General Cumbo will now leap around the boss room smashing the floor and dealing damage. The Goblin Sisters also have a new attack, along with a new animation between the two of them, where they will break away from the fight and "engage" eachother in a healing activity. The player must damage them to stop the periodic healing effect. Additionally, when one Sister is defeated the other will heal slightly and enter a rage mode, dealing more damage and attacking faster.
There's also a number of bug fixes which fix up some old problems. I'd also like to do a quick patch tomorrow or the next day to fix up a couple other issues I didn't quite get around to. Check out the changelog below for a full list!
