Foil's Vaudevillain Hour Watchback

For everyone who missed it live, here she is! Sorry about the improv round... we'll work on it!

Foil's Vaudevillain Hour Watchback

Comments

Day seven: After hours of treking across treacherous water toward the island it vanishes before my eyes. A mirage! Damn! Is this a trick of Feilimí or have I been here too long? Dark, still, but again it is morning...

Emma W

Day six: So many nights and days out on these waves with only the the song of Feilimí for solace. In the distance, possibly... land? I sail towards it; the song plays on.

Emma W

Day five: another tumultuous night. There will be no rest for me until Feilimí is with the fishes...

Emma W

Night four: the distant song soothes me almost to sleep... Startled awake! Suddenly from across the sea - the bellow of what I assume to be a ferocious giant: 'AGAIN!'. The song is revived - with gusto!

Emma W

Day three: I fall asleep with the ebb and flow of the waves, content in my little boat. A song in the distance drifts across the water... perhaps Feilimí is finally leaving me in peace?

Emma W

Night two of being pursued by Feilimí across the waves. I no longer remember why he chases me? Who is he and what does he want? I sail on through the small hours...

I rewatched this last night, love the song, watched it over and over, looked up other versions of it (of course this version couldn't be topped), sung (butchered) it when doing the dishes, with Irish so terrible it's likely offensive. My neighbours are probably relieved I've at least branched out from farming pop... Later when I was trying to sleep Feilimí's wee fecking boat kept floating into my head ALL NIGHT LONG. Every time it was reaching a resolution I was haunted by the voice of Arms: 'Again!' Despite what may be classed as a torturous night, I came back today to listen to it again... possibly due to some kind of subliminal messaging, sleep deprivation or general instability. Please give us another Irish song!

Emma W

The sound effect improv was great (as was the song)! Arms did a great job with the sounds! I'm always in awe of people who can accurately imitate such stuff. Made me think of Michael Winslow so I'm gonna go and watch police academy clips now =D

I absolutely adore the song at the end, as I watch this in July 2022. Excellent work lads on the "unrehearsed choir"!

The improv round was something else.....................fabulous xx

Loved the improv round!

I've just joined patreon and loving working thru all the older posts ... I really hope unrehearsed choir carries on as a feature!

Hahahaha I like your interpretation hahhaha 😂😂thanks a lot for trying!!

The rotting cancer is very funny? What the? 🤣 I can see why that'd cause an awkward and silence for Foil to ask if he's ok haha! And then "oh, not mine" - I assume he means joke? Well I hope so anyway! I'm going to try again! (edit - I did and that's all I can hear now 😅)

Samantha Mohi

I understood "they also say that the" and then for some reason, I hear "rotting cancer"??? I'm going to go back and try again, I think 😂

Samantha Mohi

Unrehearsed choir was awesome :)

Woah, awesome!

What does Hog say at min 18.30 to cause the awkward silence?😂 I listened to it several times but I can't get what he is saying

The raisin at the end of the sausage would be the "Coo's Tail" in Scotland because the tail is the last thing on the cow.

@Foil I’m totally the same with caffeine. First time I had a cappucino wanted to go jogging in the middle of the night (I never jog!).

Just not long enough. Brilliant stuff. Only just catching up now due to homeschooling and the like.

The chaotic madness of it all is hilarious. But the look on my poor dogs face at the singing at the end, oh the suffering!
