Couple of minor edits if I'm not mistaken. 1. "I laughed at looked at my bench options." (and instead of at). 2. In my brief stints as a true central midfielder, when I sprayed passes to Sharky Gills dropped back ten yards in a panic. (coma between Sharky and Gills)

2024-11-25 12:40:32 +0000 UTCYeah exactly. The loan deal is bad on multiple fronts. Financially it is ten times worse than going to a Bank. The conditions of the deal makes Henry and others look like that they want to take advantage of him. MD and Brooke should have told him that this would be a really bad Deal for him and Saltney. Plus the potential media issue. Saltney would have to pay taxes as well, so there would be not much money left from the Vincent deal, after his wage and bonuses, signing on fee are cosidered as well. He could have also paid the transfer fee over 2 or 3 years. As several Clubs do in real life. Otherwise amazing story, top 3. One of the highlights every week.

2024-10-17 07:14:17 +0000 UTCAs an Australian, we say Drongo, not Dongo. Easy mistake to make, seeing most of our ‘R’s are silent

2024-10-16 16:38:52 +0000 UTCAnd the worst part is, five million just gets Max an end stand with his pitch. He would need 8 million to get a main stand with his pitch which would make way more sense to do. We discussed this in the discord, MD personal loan comes with a bunch of risk and not a lot of benefit to MD. Some other form of financing or selling Youngster after international call up seems more likely.

2024-10-15 13:50:36 +0000 UTCI bet 10 Tinos that Max is seduced by some other Monthly Perk and delays Relationism further 😬

2024-10-14 15:28:55 +0000 UTCRyan Jack was subbed off for Sharky. Magnus then moved into Ryan Jacks position in central midfield and later from the midfield slot into the defense

2024-10-12 03:20:06 +0000 UTCLike I said, the arrangement isn't the issue but how it will be made to look like by toxic media. Imagine hearing about a club that forces its players to use their own money to pay the transfer fees of some other club that the manager owns. Bigger the contribution, better their chances to be in the squad. If they don't contribute, they go into the bomb squad. You have to realize these guys will do anything for views, of course they wouldn't share the whole truth. And most readers wouldn't dig deep to find out the truth. Chester will always carry the stigma of forcing players to pay. Not to mention, Max has many enemies already. The FA wouldn't let this opportunity go to impose all sorts of bans and restrictions on Max/Chester. And do so publicly. By the time they resolve it in court, their image will already be ruined.

2024-10-12 03:05:18 +0000 UTCLove that max is being more rational about relationism. That was terrible. Cut that out. FWIW this seems to be his biggest growth priority. If I could suggest anything, I’d be pushing for just a slight extra push from him. Something like 1 extra champions league match / premier leagues match / women’s premier league match a week watched and he can have by November - I think that’s the first match of the fa youth cup isn’t it? Like he knows that wibwob and positional play is the only way to make relationism work. He’s going to need his screens in the cup. Anyway I’m mainly just excited for it to come in

2024-10-12 01:58:26 +0000 UTCMan, I can't decide what I think of the five million proposal. On the one hand, Max's relentless drive to keep pushing for more is why they are where they are, but on the other, five million is just. Too. Much. The only way I could see it working is if MD personally loans it to Chester.

2024-10-11 23:12:12 +0000 UTCBut what’s the scam? The clubs pays the players… it’s not all that different to wages, just with an extra step. Don’t get me wrong, this will undoubtedly be an article. Just will blow over

2024-10-11 20:49:04 +0000 UTCWhile the idea of investing in Max's talent has good intentions, someone could easily twist the facts into another scurrilous story. To an outside observer, this is basically an all or nothing gamble. There's no way to justify investing in a business where 9 times out of 10 things don't work out. This is just making things needlessly complex. And for what? A measly 100k? Imagine what it would cost instead if the wrong story (like the club and manager running a scam) got out. Max and Chester, both their public image would be in the mud. Clubs and players wouldn't want to deal with them. It would have a huge impact on future transfers. Why go through all that trouble, and even fork up half the profit? It would be much easier to just to take a 100k business loan on the club. He's not MD to be so stubborn about a little debt. Then pay it back 6 months later when Vincent is sold to Chester for 300k. That's pretty much a done deal anyway. This also lets him keep the profit for Saltney next season. In fact, Max can use the income generated by the Saltney 3g pitch or even Vincent's future sale to Chester (would probably need letter of intent for that) as security for the loan (secured loans have lower interest). There are many options available for football clubs nowadays. Just have to look for it. Brooke can certainly help Max with this. I can't believe she actually thought this was a clever idea. For instance, let's say Max takes a 100k loan at 10% (typically 7%) for 2 years (typically 3 to 5). That means he'll have to pay 4.6k monthly for 6 months. He makes more that 12k monthly from Chester alone. Should be a no-brainer. 2024-10-11 17:22:03 +0000 UTCGreat chapter! I could see the syndicate going very wrong. These are not sophisticated investors, and it looked like a lot of fomo going on. If Addo gets injured, that's a lot of money lost, morale all the way to zero since they're going to blame Henri and Max.
