My Writing Journey

I began writing my first book at age 7. Don't worry, I'll spare you the years of trial and error, grammar classes, and drafts.

I published my first book at sixteen. Holding the physical book in my hands was one of the greatest days of my life. As of this date, I have three books published. One of these days I'll reveal my name and my books. Not today, though.

Let's skip to now. I have a ghostwriting job. It's what I do as a side job. I'm always working on something, and ghostwriting gives me a creative outlet that also pays the bills. If you didn't know, ghostwriters write in the writer's place. Ghostwriters write the story, and the buyer puts their name on the story and does what they want with it. I've seen a couple of my stories published, ones I've written, in someone else's name. I love it. It's like having my own little secret about a story, that no one else knows. I can look at the good reviews of my story and feel proud but in secret. It can be draining, but it's rewarding. I love it.

I wrote my first script not thinking anything of it. I never thought I'd record it. I didn't know what I was going to do with it. I just wrote.

That's how things usually go with me. Sometimes I have a plan, sometimes I have an outline, but at the end of the day, I just write. Words just come out of me. I don't know what the next sentence is going to say until I get there. But it's always there waiting for me when I do get there.

Writing has comforted me through every troubling thing in my life. And it continues to do so. I love sharing my writing with the world. I feel like I do that more with my Youtube channel than I ever have with my books. But, you can't comment on a book like you can on a YouTube channel. Maybe that's why I love it so much.

I've written pretty much everything. Fiction, non-fiction, fan-fiction, historical fiction, contemporary fiction. But there's something unique about roleplay scripts. You have to tell a story with one character and one listener. It's limiting. One of your characters can't talk, and you can't be too specific about what the listener says. You're mainly limited to one scene, too.

I like the limitations. It makes things simpler. I can be more creative with the limitations I give myself.

All this to say, writing is a major part of my life. I'm happy to share that through my Youtube channel.

Hope you have a good day. :)
