Artwork- Da Future (and an update)

Started this one a while back and finally finished it! I like doing these little looks into different stages of their lives.

Anyways, hey there, how you doin?

I know I sound a bit like a broken record here, but I wanna apologize for how this month has been going so far in terms of content, and wanna be clear as to why:

To make a long story short, I have had to put 90% of my time and energy into my job in order to meet a deadline, which is at the end of this month, with another coming up the following month. I honestly mean it when I say I've basically been working all day every day for the past 3 weeks to make it work and catch up, with any other free time being spent with maintaining social and personal responsibilities (and an ear infection, which was just lovely, lol).

This is not some kind of "bad sign" for Murphy & Mitzi, I have plenty I wanna do once I'm able to get back into it! And there are things I've got that are near-ready to post, like this one today, but for the sake of my own sanity I've been putting it aside in order to get this stuff done for my job.

As a consolation, I'm going to skip the upcoming pay cycle (Aug 1st) as a way to give back to all of you. I know it's not really much, but I don't feel comfortable taking your money when I haven't been working on M&M stuff for the majority of this month. I wanna give YOU a break too, especially in these expensive times. It's also due to the fact that I may not be able to deliver on making a "Thank You" post this month, depending on the time things are taking with work.

If there's anything I want to communicate, it's that this is not me "giving up" or a sign of bad things to come, I really wanna get back into M&M and things being more normal and regular with posting and creating! This project I'm doing at work has been going for over a year now and we're finally nearing completion, but with that comes a bit of crunch which is to be expected. But once it's over, I'll have that balance again that I need and there will be plenty I've got ideas for!
