Monster Girl Paradise 1.4 2 Report + News

Time for a progress report.

Writing is almost done.

Animations were put together last night.

I changed certain parts in the game, mostly UI and game optimization for people with weaker PCs.

 As you can see, now the whole UI is easier to read and understandable. Originally, I would have liked to use a gauge for things like HP, but I already experienced before that it's not the best.

I added a second bar to the monster girl to show her "FP" (friendship points) instead of adding a new symbol.

Optimization

Recently I got quite a few reports about performance issues for people with weak/older PCs, so I had a little trouble figuring out how I can improve it, so I did the next thing.

From now on, resources and monster girls spawn instantly once you leave the map; basically, with this, you get a small "load" instead of a big one when the player gets to sleep.

This is not going to mess with the safe file; you just need to enter and leave the map to reset it.

This way people should have an easier time with material grinding and befriending.

 I ended up adding an image map to the game instead of moving with menu choices.

Probably when you arrive to a girl after chapter one (introduction), there will be added buttons in the similar way for things like talk and interaction.

But overall I will try to keep the image map assets low.
