Sheepy though she may be, she possesses small reminders that her daddy is a big strong member of family Fel. Amirah grows up to be the bad rich girl of Mercyfurs (Mantiski et al have long since graduated), accompanied by her loyal friend Gae Xiǎo kǎi huā, aka Xiǎo, aka (per Amirah) Zowie.
Xiǎo is a mysterious young pangolin on a mission to...embrace/destroy/save Amirah from herself? I guess we'll learn her machinations soon enough. In her spare time, Xiǎo plays up the canny, polite Asian stereotype in order to make people uncomfortable.
Can the perilous pair possibly enjoy a coffee and tea at Slothbucks without descending into fits of evil laughter, the sound of which would disturb their unassuming parents? Stay tuned to find out!
