I think the thing that makes the main riff sound like a complete blur/hard to discern in the track version is that it's not just sixteenth note triplets, it's a sixteenth note triplet (3 notes in the space of an eighth note) followed by a sixteenth note immediately afterwards. I'm looking at the tabs and none of them account for the additional sixteenth note (they'll have an eighth note rest instead of a 16th note and a 16th note rest, for example!). So everywhere you guys hear a triplet, add a sixteenth note at the end of that as well.
