It’s gonna be a pretty chill day for us… Kate’s mom had rotator cuff surgery yesterday, so she’s all laid up right now. We are just gonna go down there and chill, I reckon. Plus we’re bringing stuff for homemade pho, the king of foods!!!
No video this week, I have just been too slammed lately, yall. It’s been ridiculously hectic. Fighting to have a guitar in my hand when I’m not onstage, in a lesson, or in front of a camera, I’ve barely even had time to play! But starting December, I’m taking a two month sabbatical from teaching, so that will hopefully help. I’m gonna be cranking out a lot of content during that month, and I’m all ears for suggestions!!!

my wife is the pho master of the house! She learned from a friend's mom who is from Ho Chi Minh, and it is the BESSSSST... i could live on that stuff.

I know this is a guitar channel, and I've got a lot more to learn from your lessons, but how about a video making that homemade pho recipe? I still haven't been able to make a good homemade pho, but I accidentally stumbled on a surprisingly good broth--the liquid from pinto beans cooked with chicken broth, water, sautéed onions and jalapeños in a slow cooker. Made a tasty broth so I'll be trying it with basil, sprouts, and thin sliced beef soon. Thanks for all the great content!
