My evil plan has succeeded!
Added 2015-07-01 16:04:44 +0000 UTCLooks like I scared away just enough patrons to slip back under the $300 mark for this month, hah! In all seriousness, though, only a few people have bailed on me so far, which is actually a phenomenal response, I think, considering it's not what everyone signed up for. Honestly, I do wish Patreon had some sort of multiple-project support, but we'll manage. If alternating stories actually gets me to release StN bimonthly, that's STILL faster than my usual track record anyway. As it is, though, I'm not quite certain when to do the cutoff for the next month's goal, since I do want people to have a chance to put their pledges back in for Sharing the Night. It takes Patreon a good three or more days to get around to actually processing everything, so maybe the one week mark? I guess I'll just play it by ear, and it probably won't matter as I still very much intend to get a chapter of StN out this month regardless.

I found myself quite entertained by the ASP preview, so I'm more than happy to support it. :) Always kinda felt that it's better to wait a little extra for a better/meatier chapter than have a creator artificially force themselves to put out and have things end up weaker for one reason or another. I'm just glad you're still writing! Originally I remember re-reading StN and going "too bad this one died off..."

2015-07-01 16:59:06 +0000 UTCSorry, CIC. It was me...and it wasn't because of anything you did. I've, er, hit something of a financial blip and had to reduce my contributions across the board....trust me, I felt awful as I went through and knocked down my pledges to what I see as minimal amounts. This should only be a short-term situation as we take care of certain things, but right now it's bag-lunch-to-work and sell-old-stuff-on-craigslist time...
