I finished Cobra Kai here's my season 5 disappointed review Grade: Storyline: D- [just too many darn broken character storylines] as listed below] I love the first 4 seasons though this one they took a different direction] ... 1. Terry - C- Wasn't wild enough as karate kid 3 Terry actually was. and lost a fight to end to Daniel clean via flawless victory: 🤦🏽♂False Reality x5 Kreese - A Well Done/Creative Lady Kim - A Well Done/Awesome Daniel - C+ (would have never beat Terry like that while being drunk, especially flawlessly beat Silver) wtf? Amanda - C- Still Selfish as all other seasons, getting in Daniel's business telling Daniel what he needs to do but yells at him for telling her what she needs to do. And that's where her Daughter Sam got her selfish ways from too. Johnny - C- 1) They make him act mentally dumber and dumber with ignorance of all things and all each season which is so not realistic by his previous i.q. level in the karate kid film series. And it's pretty inexcusable for Johnny act (William Zabka) to be getting paid over a million dollars each season and showing up out of shape with a bigger beer-belly each season (after the first season), while everybody else shows up in shape for the roles, Smh. 2# How did they have him beat 5 Cobra Kai teachers while being drunk, all by himself, after getting badly beaten up by them for 5-10mins when it took Johnny and Chozen "TOGETHER" to defeat just one of them? fictional to say the least. Carmen - A : still a real/legit wife Chozen - C+ Over the top reactions, wouldn't have survived the sword cut to the back/chest in reality Barnes - D : They Totally.. botched the return of Mike Barnes on this season. Such a disappointment to see him as a comical good guy who barely even fights. He was the best villain in the original trilogy and Daniels toughest opponent. Barnes deserved better than this small role. Such a wasted opportunity. Jessica Andrews - A+ Made Very good sense,extremely tastefully written into the return storyline. loved it Miguel - B- too much crying for doing nothing wrong Robbie A : - Finely written into his actual characters personally from previous seasons, helpful and fully believable Sam - D just as selfish as the other seasons for no reason other than its what she learned from her mom/the way she & Anthony were raised [to think: Always a Victim, Never our Fault] Tori - D- scared of Sam way. too much for no Logical reason Hawk - A - all good or as expected Demetri - A- All normal (same personally as previous seasons 1-4) Anthony - A as good as it'll get with him Kenny - D- Fake reaction to Robbie at the water park , and making him way.... too O.P. (OverPowered) for his age.height,exp level. to the point were he can compete with Hawk & Kyler let alone Beat Hawk in a tournament #WhyWouldTheyDoThat???.. smh The Kid's in 8th grade: [until the next school year starts] still half the size of everyone In else High School beating up Seniors in High School, and now the LEADER of Cobra Kai too on top of that??? b.s. on top of b.s. Stingray - B- Gave up on Cobra Kai w/terry too fast (storyline wise) just my opinion on this one. Devin Lee - C+ (1) I didn't like the fact that they took her out of Eagle Fang/Miyagi-Do so fast with allowing Johnny and her teammates to even react to seeing her over on Cobra's Team without even saying anything about it, that was a major plothole/cinema sin. Cause in Reality Every Member of Eagle Fang when they found out or seen Devin over there with cobra kai would have said: WTH "WTH Devin Why are you with them??" just like Johnny said when he seen her. 2# It didn't make any sense for them to make Devin act and sound afraid to fight Sam at the tournament tryout battle in Episode 8 Devin "you want me to fight Same Larusso??" hence why her Teacher (Kim) had to ask her "Or are you afraid?" before it took her 5 seconds to answer her back. When in reality Devin season 4 character wasn't afraid of any challenge and literally looked forward to fighting Tory in the tournament before their match started. So Now we're supposed to believe Devin is is supposed to be Intimidated/Afraid of Sam a whole season later? smh..
