Bernard has officially lost his mind, Simms has a new job... his wife is also a bit weird, and Jules pisses off Solo...
...at least we think that's his name. I don't even know anymore!

2025-09-02 22:17:39 +0000 UTCI think this episode shows what Sims and Camille's objective actually is. They want power. Even though Camille is obviously the one pulling the strings. I feel like Sims might actually be convinced that what he is doing is the best for the Silo cuz that's the way Camille always tries to convince him to do stuff. Camille is the one consistently playing both sides from the shadows. I feel like we can see Billings loyalty to Bernard falter in this episode. Obviously, the book planted a seed of doubt aswell as Jules telling him that she didn't wanna go out and her not getting a hearing but I think another thing that made him doubt the people he is working for is how easily they accepted his condition. Billings believe in the pact completely. The pact that says that he shouldn't even be allowed to be sheriff. He is surrounded by people who supposedly believe and follow the pact completely aswell but Billings has consistently seen them bent the rules when it was useful for them. Solo had a huge reaction to Jules confronting him. I feel like that's because she was specifically saying that he wasn't the head of IT's shadow. The shadow has the responsibility to keep the vault closed. In the 17th Silo Solo atleast feels like that is his job. That has been his a life. A huge part of his identity. Maybe the only reason Solo isn't completely insane. That's my explanation why his reaction was that big. Even though Jules was completely justified in asking. Great reaction, Claudie!

Is that right?! Bernard didn’t seem to know, which is interesting since he is the “know it all” man in the silo. Yes, who is this Solo guy? I need a short break and on to the next episode! Then she gets sent out to clean, only shortly after coming back into his life. On top of all that, he is forced to lie to people, give them false hope of having a baby. And now Bernard wants even more from him, for the sake of the very Silo that took everything from him. Did he seriously think Dr. Nichols would agree to help him? On a more lighter note, that was a big fuck you to Sims, I love it hahaha. Great reaction as always Claudie :)

I’m gonna like Camile Simms. I can tell. Respectfully putting Bernard in his place. I honestly love this episode so much! Soooo much happened, who is solo really? why has he decided on that name/identity to borrow? what the heck is wrong with Jules? How did Calvin get hold of a winch system? And why? How does solo know he only has 10 months, has he just worked it out? Are there generators outside or is it like solar power? What’s going on in billings head now? He’s not gonna be loyal to the silo anymore surely…. A shorter essay today, but I have so many questions in my brain 🤯 Thank you as always Claudie, this was great 😁
