Added 2020-02-17 16:00:03 +0000 UTCSeason 3 of Combat Chef Kazuko ended with Yamaji telling Kazuko that he's leaving the team to join Shadow Cuisine Academy, only for Kazuko to accidentally stab him with her Light Spatula. According to interviews with the creator, the next season would have taken place 5 years later, with Kazuko having quit the Combat Chef Circuit and back working at her grandfather's diner. Creative differences between the team and the studio execs caused the show to be cancelled and the plot to remain unresolved.

To be fair, pretty much every uncancelled show feels like it got brought back with a monkey's paw.
