Isaac only drank one because he had a bottle lying around that he got for free during a magic fun run he took part in once.
The event was to raise funds to research Glyns Disease, an extremely rare disease named after its sole sufferer, Arto Glyns, CEO of the Extreme Mana Corporation.
Arto Glyns died shortly after, taking the disease with him. The Glyns Disease Research Institution remained active, however. Though its staff mostly just wander around the building, with nothing to do.
