Arcanist & Merchant: June Library Links

Hello! Its June, and I cannot wait for summer to get started. I've got my hammock out, the flowers in my yard are blooming, and best of all, 70 degrees is the perfect temperature for resin printing!

Here are all the links you'll need to access your models for this month:

These links will be valid until July 1st!

The first new model for this month is already available on the main feed, and the next release, exclusive to the Arcanist & Merchant Tiers, will release next week on Monday, June 9th! Here's a preview:

Thank you again for being a supporter on Patreon, it really means the world to me that you're here.

All my best,

Natalie, Ella's Arcanum Minis

Hi Adam, thank you for taking the time to write out all of this great advice! I will be getting set up on MyMiniFactory later this year, as I know that is something that a lot of people appreciate. That’s also a great suggestion for the preview renders, I’ll be sure to implement something visually different for next time!

If you could drop a direct link to this model like you did with every other post, that would be super helpful. Also, are you planning on delivering through MMF anytime soon? Thanks and welcome to the club! (Never mind: I figured out that this is a preview of the models yet to be released. My pattern seeking brain saw every other picture posted have an associated link to immediately download and assumed this one was missing because of that. Had I read the post in full, I would have saw the intention sooner. Perhaps, as just a suggestion, if you're going to post a preview without a link that it be a draft render or black and white or something? I assume you're trying to push people in using the Library link to access their files but I know a lot of people who have a deep rooted habit of just downloading directly from links in the feeds posts but I am just throwing that out there.) Looking forward to the new pack to see where you plan on going with this thing. I advise on Kickstarter/Patreon/Tribes campaigns and there are two points I stress harder than anything else in my consultations and assistance which I will give to you for free because I want to see you succeed! You have a lot of talent when it comes to sculpting and it will still take some time to settle into your style where you meet the demands of your customers (which they are now that you are accepting money for your art [and it is art any way you look at it]) but my advice is this: 1. Take risks. Don't let me market of your fanbase bind you. You must take risks to not only stand out of the crowd to get attention on your product but pushing you own limits will lead to better art, a better understanding of your capabilities, and how to most effectively harness it. No one needs the 10,000th Elven Ranger or the 3,405th Beholder. You MUST bring something new to the market if you want to contribute anything meaningful and make a name for yourself. So you either need to push boundaries and the limits to take risks compared what is already out there of if you are making the same thing as everyone else then you must be the ABSOLUTE best in the world at it because if you don't, and if you aren't, what is the fucking point? Nothing would be the answer and that will reflect in your lack of growth and sales. Just make cool shit and innovate.; and the most important 2. Put the collector first in everything you do. If you consider what is best for the collector in every decision from the beginning of mocking up a sculpt or brainstorming ideas to the end product of pricing and delivery, if you put the collector first in all of that, they will carry you father than you could EVER go alone and that will be reflected not only in your take at the end of the day, but the repeat business you get from building a community of support and collaboration. Exactly what any art-based community should be. And remember, this is a community first and foremost. We are a niche of a niche so it is a very small pond with only a few big fish and more tiny ones that you can throw a rock in the water and end 1,000 bloodlines. You NEED to stand out in the water to both be seen and also not be eaten and the community, building one, then serving and treating it as an investor will put you in the right mindset that so many in this market never get to. Good luck! I'll be watching. And if you ever want to speak privately, please feel free to contact me directly. And thank you again for you time and consideration on this and I look forward to seeing more of your amazing sculpts! ACB
