It's not like every third kid in high school in Norway lives alone if you are getting that impression from OG. But we also have a lot of people living in small communitys at the countryside and are farmers and stuff. And of course those kids have to move alone to go to high school if there small communitys/city don't have a high school or the line you want to study. But for me living outside of a city but not that fare. We have lots of high schools to choose between. And I have never known anybody living without there parents before after high school. Even if they are studying at some lines that they have to take the bus in one and a half hour to reach. And even some of the Norwegians asked Julie about the "living alone situations". But as Julie says... the point in this stoyes are not about the parents! As she said when she talked to the kids they told her that they often preferred to talk to their friends about problems in their lives, rather than parents. So she wanted to make a story about the kids reactions between each other and not focusing on their parents. And we're looking in to their lives about 5min pr day. So they can talk a lot more to their parents about other stuff in their than what they show us.π

Her being distant and not a good parent could very well be depression because of the past, if it's like SKAM OG. I don't mean we saw a mom in the situation with Norway, but I mean with the little sister situation.
