Season 3 is still a fav of mine - I’m not sure if it’s because it’s so short or just the way TPTB planned out the story, but it’s just really tight and well paced. | Your take on Ben & Lisa was pretty similar to the one I had, except that I’m one of the (many) fans who believe that Lisa lied to Dean. Ben is his son. Lots of fans disliked Lisa intensely, which I never understood. What was your opinion of her? | I hope you continue to enjoy the season and I can’t wait to see your reactions to the remaining episodes. ENJOY! XXOO

2019-02-27 03:34:09 +0000 UTCI really liked the Dean story. It seems like he was whistfull about that "normal" life that Sam wanted. Now even though we saw only glimpses of this woman following Sam that is what really interested me. She's a demon! But she wants to help Sam save Dean. Sam is going to need it, and she's supernatural and she's got that knife. What else does she have and know? Even though we're only 2 episodes in this season feels darker. I also really love how they are changing the "Supernatural" title sequence every season.

2019-02-23 20:07:45 +0000 UTCI'm glad you like this episode. I like it, but I don't care much for some of the monster parts of it. The young girl did a great job at being creepy though. But I was really stoked about Ben possibly being Dean's boy. And I liked what I saw about Lisa. She seemed to have her head together. And she looked a little bit like Dean's dream girl in season 2's scene with the Jinn - What is and What Should Never Be. And since she stayed in his thoughts enough to want to see her again here, I thought that maybe she influenced the look of the woman he had in his dream. But, in reality, it would likely have actually been her in his dream. Anyway. I thought it meant something that she made enough of an impression that he wanted to see her again, out of the other ladies he'd known. Considering that he likely doesn't want to get any attachments. What I found really interesting is before he left Lisa's she said he's "welcome to stay". Well, that's more than a weekend fling right there. "stay" is pretty open ended. So I guess she had more feelings for him than she had let on before. Must have been some weekend! If Dean weren't a Hunter, I bet he'd make a great dad. And Ben really does look like him, and seems to be cut from the same mold. sigh Ben would be about 19 now, if I did my math right. And if your hope for them to get back together at the last episode would happen, Dean might just be 50 by then. And so would Lisa. So I think Ben would be about it. Unless she had more kids in the interim. lol
