I'm supporting you on Patreon cuz you're already into Season 4 of one of my favorite shows ever! I LOVE Supernatural and I know it's a long show but it's more or less consistent. There's a rough couple of story arcs in the later seasons but the show is great overall and the story just keeps getting bigger and better imo. I know some will argue that the first 5 seasons are the best because that was the intended story for the show but man they really know how to keep this show going and keep it interesting. Love Sam and Dean and the many other characters you'll meet along the way! Keep it up! Can't wait for you to reach the end of Season 4 and Season 5!!!

2019-04-19 22:17:11 +0000 UTCAgree with you Alison. The telekinesis thing with Sam I put into the same box as all of his powers. My feelings on that issue back them were that Sam inhibited himself and his powers because he was afraid to use them. Afraid of what they'd do to him. So he didn't try to use the. He actually could have clamped down whatever part of his brain he though they were coming from. So, it's subconscious and something he can't make happen when he actually does want to use them. That was my way of making sense of it back then. Made a sort of sense.

2019-02-18 18:56:38 +0000 UTCEvery time I watch a new reactor start Supernatural, they always ALWAYS say 'I know blank won't die cause there are so many seasons' like I swear every time. And I just laugh every single time because are you really so sure?

2019-02-16 05:00:02 +0000 UTCWhat a great finale! This is definitely one of my favorites by far! I love everything about it and I'm glad you did too! So regarding whether or not John went back to Hell or not after killing the demon, they actually don't explicitly say where he ended up. But much of the fandom has the same opinion as you; that he has either simply passed on or has gone to Heaven. As for Sam's telekinesis, to me that seemed like a one time thing; Sam said himself that he didn't even mean to do it. Still, anything is possible! I'm so glad that you're enjoying this show so much! It really is amazing! I can't wait to continue to follow you on this amazing journey! It's SO worth it!

2019-02-15 22:43:03 +0000 UTCGood point, Brenda. The recaps to the first and last episodes of each season are a must watch for fans.

2019-02-15 16:56:13 +0000 UTCYeeeesss!! So glad you loved the finale as much as I thought you would!! ;) Don't forget to watch the season 2 bloopers!!! They're so much fun.. Don't know if you know this but season 3 is only 16 episodes because of a writers' strike at the time the show was coming out. But you don't miss anything because of it, there's just less "filler" episodes and more storyline focused. Even being short it's one of my favorites, and then Season 4 being my absolute favorite. I'm excited to see how you'll react to these two upcoming seasons!!

2019-02-15 16:03:28 +0000 UTCNow that was a finale, I love they killed the demon. But here we go right into next season and new problems. I could not wait for you to see this. I'm so glad John coming back was such a surprise. You can also watch the recap in the first episode of every season cause it only shows what happened that last one (and the music is cool). Really enjoyed your reaction, you are going to love next season too.

2019-02-15 12:38:05 +0000 UTCYour reaction was just as epic as I thought it would be, with one exception - no tissues were necessary. I'm pretty sure I went through a box for AHBL 1 & 2. NGL, still need half a box for these episodes. LOL. Congrats on making it through the first 2 seasons! My hope for you is that you're able to catch up before SPN is over. Maybe catch a convention or participate within the gigantic fandom. Some of my closest friends were made through the love of this show. People I consider family, now. That's something I've never seen in any other fandoms, where it's mostly just ship wars. We have ours, too, though...in the later years. Carry On Wayward Son became a hit for Kansas again because of Supernatural. Imagine that! Every finale they congratulate SPN on another year. In 2017, they played the song live for the opening of the SPN panel at SDCC. It blows my mind that our little show is going on this long, and has built and cultivated an extraordinary community of people from every walk of life and in every corner of the globe. Ever notice how many comments and likes you get for spn reactions vs the other shows you watch..? *whispers* There's a reason, my friend. That's not me trying to be rude or say that other shows aren't good. At all. Just looking at the numbers. ;)

2019-02-15 11:59:36 +0000 UTCI forgot something. Dean wasn't the only one not telling the truth to his brother in this episode. Sam didn't tell Dean everything about what he learned in that western town.

2019-02-15 06:57:29 +0000 UTCWow. Awesome video. It may seem odd to you that people love watching people react to the early season's. Well, this show is just like that. People get hooked. Some are hooked by early season's and always prefer them to later season's. Some love the later season's more than the early season's. And every combination in between, there are people. What I'm getting at is that this show has fans of every type, all around the world. There's even been people who write about how diverse and widespread the fandom is. Age, sex, demographic, nationality. Everything. So, yeah. Many of us like to watch new people as they go down the road to discovery and fall in love. I just hope you stay in love with the show through all it's ups and downs. The road can get pretty rocky. But it's a good road with lots of awesome things to experience along the way. This finale was so satisfying to me. But also maddening. I was also upset with Dean for what he did. Dean and his Deal. ugh - Dean just is bound and determined to break my heart. I can't imagine that fun-loving, devil may care, lovely young man having to go to Hell. Not my Dean! Dean's my boy and so now I was worried about how and if they'd get him out of his deal. That, frankly, concerned me more than all those demons who got loose. But it was satisfying because they killed Yellow Eyes! Yay! I hate it when a show drags something on season after season. Like Lost did. ugh Season three is very short, so you'll go through it fast. I was very worried all through the summer break. The only thing I was interested in when it started up again was seeing Dean get out of that deal.

2019-02-15 06:46:47 +0000 UTCWow... so much to say, but I won't go on and on like I could. First... thank you again for another great reaction! Like I said, this episode and its Part One are among my absolute favorites overall. And the earlier seasons for me are better than the last few. I love the first two seasons above all the rest and while some of the other seasons coming up are good too, I mostly like just certain episodes within them more the the seasons in their entirety. But with that being said... Supernatural is still good, I still enjoy it for the most part, and there's lots of excitement and new fun characters to come. Now... Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays John Winchester... he is a very busy actor and it was extremely difficult for the show's creators to get him back, even though Jeffrey loved being a part of Supernatural. And he did so much and was very sad to have to leave the show for other jobs. This is way they could only get him back for this brief scene in the end. As for his character... the creators wanted to give the boys a little bit of peace of mind in the end and so they had John climb out of Hell so he could come in to save his sons. And because like you said, the gates to Hell were closed and John was able to escape, his soul moved on to a better place... Heaven. Now the boys don't know for sure where he is now, but they choose to believe he's in a better place and he's finally safe. I loved this moment too. Amazing!!!! As for Sam's telekinesis power... at this point in the show, I almost feel like it was something the creators had Sam do once to show he was capable of more and that it was like something they forgot about. Because like you, I was getting frustrated we haven't seen him use his abilities again. However, I believe it's also because Sam has been so afraid of his visions and of turning evil, that especially when he learned in Part One that the others like him could develop more powers within them, Sam grew even more afraid of what he would become if he accepted his other gifts. And rightly so, seeing as Ava, Jake, Andy's twin brother, and Max Miller all turned evil with their abilities. Andy was the only one he really knew who didn't ever turn, even though he did develop his power further. But Sam is still just so afraid of becoming evil, so he suppresses his gifts as much as he possibly can. That's why I feel like he hasn't used his telekinesis ability. I loved how Dean fought for Sam and was so broken upon losing him, as Sam was broken upon learning that Dean sacrificed his life for him to save him. I loved how Sam vowed he would find a way to save Dean in the end, but it's still just so sad. Honestly, it was wrong of Dean to sell his soul for Sam, even though I understand wholeheartedly why he did so. But after all Dean knew about what happens to those who sell their souls, even for the right reasons, it isn't good and it's hardest on those they leave behind. In this case... Sam and Bobby. Also... it was great that Yellow Eyes is finally dead!!! And Jake too. Unfortunately, the gates of Hell has been opened, so there are a ton more demons on the loose. Lastly... I was happy to see Ellen again. I'm glad she survived, though I was sad that Ash died. Overall... I loved this episode so much! I look forward to more reactions from you as we get into season three. I don't care about it so much, because there are fewer episodes that I like, but there are also some really phenomenal episodes in it too. So, until time... Thank you again!
