You can understand why he acts the way he does 1) his father chose someone who wasn’t even his own son over him 2) his father literally sent him to hell 3) his father did experiments on him so he had no choice but to have demon blood in him and be the way he is. Also Maia and Simon are the absolute cutest, I love their scenes together. And compared to season 1, the acting, the dialogue, the effects, literally everything is so much better it doesn’t even seem like the same show.
