Never worry about me I DON"T DO SPOILERS. My comments will always be safe. If I say anything about an episode it will ALWAYS be what I was thinking when I first watched it. I know you are going to really enjoy the rest of this season.

2019-01-04 22:02:04 +0000 UTCYay! Great Reaction. We're finally getting into the meat of this season. And the point where the show starts to really ramp up and show the potential it has. Another great episode - for me at least. This is why I love Season 2 so much. This season has stuck with me over all these years. Very pivotal for me in my growing love for this show and these characters. Finally, the truth about what John told Dean. We finally see why Dean had been acting so crazy! Imagine mourning your father at the same time as trying to deal with this. I agree that he should have told Sam, but I also see his side of it. I think. He didn't want to believe it - couldn't believe it. Not Sammy. And, well, he may not have had the best role model on how to deal with things - or secrets. I think he mostly just wants to protect Sam, and keeping this horrible crap from him was part of it. But it is something Sam deserved to know. But - also - seeing how Sam reacted to the information shows that there was some merit to Dean's concern in telling him. Sam should have listened to Dean, so they could think things through. He shouldn't have gone off alone like that. The names Ash gave Sam are all of people they already know about. Max Miller, Andy, etc. I don't think Sam could have brought himself to kill Gordon. Or, maybe he didn't want to be the type of person who could kill Gordon. Especially after hearing what John had told Dean. I think that Sam has always seen himself as a "good guy". He hasn't seemed to fully get into the "killer" part of the job, like John and Dean. Hasn't always shown the ability to fight well. But he's also always had John or Dean to come to his aid, so he never really had to. Heck, he didn't want to be a Hunter. But - he Can fight. We saw that here. Maybe he holds back? But when he's on his own with no backup - or coming to someone else's aid - like here - he Can fight and win the fight. Now, with what John knows how will he react - will he be even more determined to show he's a "good guy"? At least now they know more about what might be going on. The next episode is one of the few really worthless ones of the season. In my opinion. I have no idea why they even did it. You are welcome to skip it if you like, as far as I'm concerned. There are maybe 5 minutes worth of interesting stuff in the episode. There is some humor though. PS - I love your shirt btw!
