Supernatural Season 1 Episode 13 UN-CUT REACTION!

Wink wink. I have to admit to liking our boy's style here. Who'd have thought such a tough dude who seems to just hit on any woman actually turns out to be . . . . . .Gotta PG13 it. Plus if I say any more I'll give away too much that it's best for her to find out about on her own. Wink wink Makes one wonder how much of all that carting with any chick is just an act. Or, maybe he just appreciates women, but keeps it super casual and short and sweet.

Kirsty-Louse - Thanks for pointing out Sams playful ribbing of Dean in this episode. Sam is usually so serious all the time, and it's a relief to see him lighten up. I bet it was fun for him to see this side of his brother. He probably would have had more fun with the airplane case if it weren't such a serious, and time sensitive one.

I really enjoy getting to see this other side to Dean, that he has more layers than just to cocky, tough guy exterior that he likes to project. There's actually a man in there who cares a lot (we knew that already, but this time we see it directed at someone other than Sam or the people he's trying to save). Plus we get one of the few episodes when one of the boys has sex, and the hottest IMO. Thanks for the reaction, enjoyed it as always.

I also liked this episode a lot despite the fact that it doesn't tend to be a fan favourite and like Michele, it is because of the reasons you talked about. We learn a lot about Dean and likely find out a big reason why he struggles to trust people (other than Sam) and let them in (even Sam at times) but I also think we got to see a different side to Sam too, usually Dean is the one poking fun at Sam when it comes to girls but I feel like in this episode we got to see a more playful and comedic side to Sam too which I find interesting about the episode. Season 1 and 2 consist of 22 episodes and it's correct that Season 2 does have more of a story but at the same time, there are still episodes that don't relate to the main story. Season 3 is the shortest season to date with 16 episodes due to a writers strike that was going on at the time.

I really like this episode, for the same reason's you did. The story was interesting and important. And I really liked seeing Cassie and Dean's relationship play out. I thought they made a cute couple too. She seemed feisty enough to handle him too. It was a nice side to see of Dean. He's tough, yet also has a soft side. Plus, dang, the boy has moves. Not everyone cares much for this episode. Some don't think it's interesting enough, scary enough. Some just don't like seeing either of The Boys be in anything close to an actual romantic relationship. Anything beyond a one night stand has some fans getting snarky. For various reasons. The scene near the end, when Dean is driving with the "Killer Truck on his ass" and Sam is telling him where to go was interesting in the fact that Dean put his total trust in Sam. He stopped and just let the truck come at him because Sam told him to. That's Dean. He trusts his brothers smarts and the fact that Sam was just taking an educated guess didn't occur to him. But, regardless, he trusted him, so risked it.
