The books did such an amazing job of showing us how wrecked Jace was about the fact that he STILL wanted Clary he felt like a monster because he really didn't care that she was, he still wanted her so he felt like somehting was horribly wrong with him. I never felt like they showed that in teh show well enough

I loved your reaction to the malec kiss I’ve been waiting all season lol. I get emotional just rewatching it. And I love Lydia for being understanding. The finale is gonna be awesome! & then on to s2 which improves this show a lot!

I get where you’re coming from, but Magnus truly didn’t pressure him as much as he did in 1x04. I think Magnus truly didn’t know that Alec was out yet at that time and so he was shamelessly flirting with him in front of everyone. After the memory demon incident and after he told Alec that he had nothing to be ashamed of, he didn’t openly flirt with Alec unless there was no one in the room or able to hear them because he wasn’t out yet to anyone. For example in 1x06 when they had drinks after healing Luke, Magnus could see that Alec was having trouble figuring out his emotions, so he said that he understood and that Alec didn’t have to figure it out right then. I don’t think his intent was ever to pressure Alec to come out but to stop him from marrying a woman. You have to remember that Magnus is a bisexual man who has lived for CENTURIES, so I’m 100% positive that he knows about keeping secrets and not outing men back 100s of years ago. I don’t think that was his intent. And like Magnus told Alec before, both Alec and Lydia would have been miserable for the rest of their lives, and Alec would have never backed out on that marriage if Magnus didn’t walk in because it has been ingrained in him to never go against the clave. i can def see how it can come off that way. but to me i took it as Magnus knowing that this was going to make Alec unhappy. Magnus knew how Alec felt and he knew the one last thing he could do to keep save him from himself, was to show up at the wedding. thats just how i took it! Alec could've told him to leave if he wanted him to, you know what i mean? but i also think its a very thin line of pressuring someone & knowing for sure its what they want in their heart.

i think Magnus right now! i also adore Simon & Izzie. i honestly love all of them so much its hard to choose.

Yes they were together in the other dimension,,,but they also changed something else in that other dimension, that I can not say....lol. Hang in there for more.....MUCH more :)

OK but part of me has actually always been a little bothered by the start of Alec and Magnus's relationship. Yes, Alec needed to come to his senses and not get married and live life honestly. But that's his realization to come to on his own time, and Magnus coming on to him/always making advances CAN be confusing or muddy the issue or feel pressuring when you're trying to figure that stuff out. Magnus should have been a good friend allowed Alec the breathing room and support to figure it out on his own. Instead, it seemed as if Magnus was concerned about getting Alec to fall in love with him, Alec's own feelings or desires be damned.

really?! that’s one of the first things that confused me. i still haven’t found out, but it doesn’t make sense to me how they’re siblings if they’re dating in an AU where “their” parents are still together.
