It's not a secret that I'm very frustrated with how my series had been handled by Webtoon, recently (or not super recent? It's kinda old now i guess) there's an incident that got me really frustrated and it stunlocked me from doing pretty much anything
You probably have noticed that I haven't promoted Vol. 4 that much, and it's because I feel like it's not a good enough product for me to promote.
Webtoon messed up the spine of the book and it looks too obvious to me
I feel like the spine is super important since that's the only thing you see when the book is shelved.
They said that there's nothing they can do about it until the next reprint of the book, but most books don't even get a second print. For all I know it's never going to be fixed at all.
I don't know if it's an accumulation of their fumbles or if I'm being unreasonable, but this feels so hurtful to me. It's a product that they're putting out in stores and retail but they don't even bother to quality check or use files that were approved. It feels so unprofessional, they put me through so much stress and when they make a mistake, I'm just told to suck it up.
It feels so bad when I bring up how this frustrates me and they guilt me about it, saying that they are only human, there can be mistakes, etc. I was made to feel bad for being frustrated about it.
But yeah... I'm sorry the book came out less than ideal.

Theres going to be mistakes along the way, and it sucks, but hey its going to be okay. This could open a world of opportunities, but you decide what to do, but I appreciate very much your level of detail in your work to give us such a wonderful experience β¨οΈπ«ΆπΌ Thank you for what you do!! p.s. maybe this could be an opportunity to create sleeves for the books? ππ and cover that small oops
