Since Rey is about to cover Franco Freda, we're getting ourselves and our listeners into the milieu of the Years of Lead through a look at the film Piazza Fontana: The Italian Conspiracy (Romanzo di una strage) from 2012, a dramatization of the Piazza Fontana bank bombing in 1969 and the attempt by fascists and state actors to frame anarchists, resulting in the death of one in police custody.

Irrelevant thought, it's weird to me that Ordine Nuovo uses the labrys as its symbol, which I'm more used to seeing as a lesbian pride symbol. But a quick glance at Wikipedia tells me that it was also used as a symbol of Metaxism and by Vichy France. Funny how these things happen.
