Shame! Friend would love to meet up but too busy with everything but meeting up with you

A non-autistic friend would really love to catch up sometime soon, just as soon as she’s less busy with everything that doesn’t involve meeting up with you, it has been rumoured.

Avery Mann, 36, said: “It’s just really hard to make plans at the moment, given how busy I am making plans with family, work and friends I like a lot more than you.”

“It’d be so lovely to catch up, my diary’s just jammed,” she continued. “Put YOU in my diary? Uh sure, I’ll dig it out and get back to you ASAP.”

Mann then proceeded to go silent, despite several follow-up texts and the aforementioned diary she needed to ‘dig out’ being the same device from which she sent you that message.

Speaking several months later, Mann said: “God I’m so sorry, I’m terrible at staying in touch. How are you fixed for June 2032?”
