2022-11-04 15:33:52 +0000 UTCThe next few chapters are going to be Scott's backstory. Originally this story was just going to be Scott's backstory, but that Robin was like "hey! I got way more story to tell!" Robin having seen Scarlett before was something I wanted to do, but Scott's Heart Guardian form looks exactly like Scarlett, and I couldn't figure out how to explain why Robin didn't recognize Scarlett in that form. So to avoid the whole can of worms, I decided that Scarlett would be one of Cassie's friends that Robin for some reason never met in person.

Cheap magic trick - thus obligatory 'Ta da!' :D ...I'd assume Robin might have seen Scarlett, as one of Cassie's girl friends...

2022-11-04 01:31:57 +0000 UTCTbh I really love the approach where like, the other characters have a pretty casual approach to gender whereas Robin was just, "Well, I'm going to be a girl forever," after about four hours, and hates boymoding for work. It feels like a really honest way to include a trans girl in a comic rife with magical gender changes.
